Bloomberg Law reports that CVS Health Corporation, based in Woonsocket, RI, reached a cash-price purchase agreement with Signify Health Inc. for approximately $8 billion.

Meanwhile, Google has joined the global campaign to eradicate tuberculosis, a disease that kills 1.4 million people per year. The search engine giant has developed an AI to detect tuberculosis, most helpful in communities with limited access to radiologists. (STAT)
