Pharmaceutical companies Eisai and Biogen announced positive clinical trial results of a new drug, lecanemab, designed to slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease. (NY Times)

Meanwhile, UCLA researchers used a molecule found in green tea to help break up proteins thought to cause Alzheimer's. (News Medical)

The editors of Medical Design & Outsourcing identified 10 startups to watch in the medical device field, including CMR Surgical, Visura Technologies, and Endiatx—a company that develops swallowable microbots.
